How I came to listen to the Holy Spirit and to personally know Jesus … changing my own personal Identification to being reminded of truth and who I am in Christ.

It has been a process, with four time periods that stand out in my life which seemed to be most impactful for me over the years.

I have learned that God is consistently attempting to speak to each of us on a regular basis

... through the Holy Spirit at work,

... through people,

... through creatures,

...through creation,

... through anything that exists on this earth

… sometimes in ways, things or experiences we would never expect to hear God speak or work through.

“I had to learn to intentionally and intently tune my mind and heart toward God rather than fear, self-doubt, and any other negative emotions/thoughts I was experiencing”

I share the following parts of my life as living testimonies still unfolding — because God’s love continues to rewrite my story until the day I (along with all believers) are together with Abba forever:

Although my early years living in Brazil contained some challenges including bullying and isolation from others (being that I was different from the other kids, as the only blue-eyed blond, along with being extremely shy) it wasn’t until 5th grade when I realized my earliest memories of being bullied and teased terribly and consistently.

I now see how the lies I was believing about myself at the time contributed to my

🥀 low self-esteem,

🥀 despair,

and 🥀 heartache.

It wasn’t until later in my adult years that I came to experience truth in my identity …

directly countering what seemed to be engrained in me over the years …

to restoration and re-aligning my heart with who I really am in God’s design:

♥️ COUNTER TO LOW SELF-ESTEEM ~

“I Am Valued & Chosen” which includes the following truths: I am created with intention and purpose. I carry God’s image — nothing about me is accidental. I am deeply loved, accepted, and delighted in. My voice matters. My presence matters. My life matters. I am being strengthened to see myself through God’s eyes, not through insecurity. I am Worthy, Beloved, and Significant as God’s child.

♥️ COUNTER TO DESPAIR ~

“I Carry Hope That Cannot Die” which includes the following truths: I am grounded in a hope stronger than any circumstance. Light is rising for me, even when I cannot yet see it. My story is not over ~ God is rewriting it with redemption woven through every line. Fresh strength is being given to me each day. My heart is anchored; despair is not my name ~ hope is. I am a Hope-Bearer, Renewed, and Rising as God’s child.

♥️ COUNTER TO HEARTACHE ~

“I Am Held & Restored” which includes the following: I am not abandoned in my pain; I am gently held. God tends to every bruise of my heart with compassion and restoration. My heart is being made whole ~ piece by piece, breath by breath. What was broken is being restored into something stronger and more beautiful. I am safe to feel, safe to continuing restoration, and safe to love again. I am Whole, Cherished, and Restored as God’s child.

The process of committing to time with God every morning (even when I did not feel like taking the time or when I was crazy busy or when I simply was not experiencing God’s presence) over time became a partnership ~

my mind was receiving more, my spirit discerning more, and my heart confirming in peace.

My intent is to help others recognize that God is not hidden;

God is continually revealing God’s love in the simplest thoughts, feelings, and nudges.

By the power of the Holy Spirit… the Holy Spirit’s presence says to any and every one of us:

“You’re safe."

"You’re seen."

"You’re not alone."

"Restoration is possible.”

The Holy Spirit helps others hear God for themselves.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit we can decide what is allowed in (peace, truth, etc) and what must stay out (lies, oppression, etc)

My hope is that sharing my personal stories may serve as examples that God / Jesus / Holy Spirit is very much alive and wants a personal growing relationship with each one of us so that we can be at our best, as God intended.

✨ I learned to bring my raw emotions to God … God can handle it!

✨ I learned that I need to wait instead of forcing an answer, if I want God’s best in God’s perfect timing

✨ I am learning that most of God’s communication is through gentle nudges and then, when listening, the fruit (many times not in the way I expected) comes from doing God’s will.
